Vet. Núñez1 - 1Liga Balvanera

Veterinaria Núñez and Liga Balvanera shared the points in a match where both balanced approaches ended up reflecting what happened on the pitch: a draw with no clear decisions, no drama, just two teams that know each other well and know how not to lose. The 1-1 final on matchday 16 of Primera I de CABA was the reflection of an afternoon where the 4-4-2 formations worked like mirrors, with neither side managing to impose its will consistently.

Galo Arestizabal scored for the home side with a 7.2 rating that put him among the best in the match. The San Juan-born midfielder, 27 and in the peak of his footballing maturity, was a constant nuisance down Balvanera's left flank. For the visitors, Valentino Nowicki replied in kind, also with a 7.2 rating and the merit of equalising on the left side. At 30, the Mendoza-born full-back continues to show consistency in defence and an ability to get forward. Leandro Rebollo and Constantino Tassinari completed Balvanera's defensive structure with solid 7.2 displays, a shield that stopped Veterinaria Núñez from running away with it in the closing minutes. Norberto León, the 29-year-old midfielder, tried to create play from the middle of the pitch for the home side, while Mario Santi, the 25-year-old striker, hovered around the box without making it count beyond his work for the team.

What was clear is that both teams came not to lose. Balvanera held its shape without unnecessary risks; Veterinaria Núñez also avoided any reckless gambles at home. For the hosts, the draw feels like a missed chance to take all three points. For the visitors, a point away from home always counts in the battle at the top. A decent match, nothing more.
