What player specialities are in a football manager

A speciality is a standout trait that sets a player apart from the rest, such as being a header of the ball, quick or a natural goalscorer. It tells you which role he suits best.

Beyond the numbers, football has players with a signature: the number 9 who wins everything in the air, the winger who burns past full-backs, the keeper who never spills a rebound. Many manager games represent that with specialities, a label that sums up the trait and helps you choose roles: a header is gold at set pieces, a quick player is ideal on the break and a playmaker runs the midfield.

In ELDT the speciality appears on each player's card and comes from his most outstanding attributes. The ones that exist are Header, Quick, Tireless, Dribbler, Technical, Powerful, Playmaker, Goalscorer, Leader and, for goalkeepers, Safe Hands. Many players have none.

Use them to build the side: a Leader is a natural captain, a Header adds at corners and a Quick winger gets the most out of a counter-attacking plan.
