Sponsors in a football manager and how to negotiate
A sponsor is a company that pays the club in exchange for displaying its brand. It is one of the most important fixed incomes of a football club.
In football sponsors appear on the shirt, on the stadium boards and in the names of the stands. For clubs it is safe money every week that does not depend on the result. In manager games, landing good sponsors is part of running the club: a well-negotiated contract can carry the finances of a whole season.
In ELDT your stadium has three stands, Terrace, Grandstand and VIP, and each can have its own sponsor at the same time. They are three independent markets: signing in one does not touch the others. The VIP pays most, but filling all three is worth a lot more than having one. Every offer comes from a brand with its own personality. The Conservative pays steadily and for a long time; the Ambitious starts strong and has room to improve if you push; the Opportunist offers short contracts and a low start but hides the biggest margin. You can negotiate up to 2 rounds asking for more before signing.
The manager's fame improves the offers: the more fame you have, the better the contracts that reach you, up to 40% more. If you have no contract signed, the club collects a basic sponsor for its division in the first week of each month.
