Social y Deportivo Villa Soldati made home advantage count on matchday three of Primera L del GBA Norte, beating El Vencedor de San Telmo 1-0 in a result that reflected little beyond the hosts’ finishing. El Vencedor never found a way to break the hosts’ stability. Their 22-year-old striker Horacio Wisniewski was inaccurate with his efforts and received no consistent support from midfield. Roberto Molina tried to create play from the defensive area, but his long passes found no target. In the end, it was a match Villa Soldati controlled without shining, while the visitors went home empty-handed without being able to trouble the opposing goalkeeper particularly much. Another matchday in the division, with no excitement apart from that goal which decided everything in the first half.
