Club de Floresta Este4 - 1Sportivo Belgrano R Norte

Club de Floresta Este did not forgive at home and brushed aside Sportivo Belgrano R Norte with a convincing win that left no doubt. The final 4-1 was the reflection of a home side that managed the tempo with ease from the first half, while the away side was gradually worn down as the match went on. Both balanced 4-4-2 set-ups produced no tactical surprises, but the home side's execution was infinitely superior. Maximiliano Artola, the 22-year-old Uruguayan forward, was the main man with a goal and an assist that summed up his lively, box-threatening display. Horacio Sayago and Aaron Gareca also found the net from their defensive positions, stretching the scoreline.

Belgrano did manage to pull one back through Santi Yedro, the experienced 30-year-old winger who at least caused some problems for the away defence in the second half. Alberto Braun, the 22-year-old Mendoza midfielder, had moments of inspiration but it was not enough to organise the middle of the park. Quique Zacarías, the 17-year-old goalkeeper making his debut with a 7.4 rating, gave Floresta Este's defence a secure backing. Camilo Zacchei at right-back carried out his role without major alarms, though he picked up a yellow card that had no effect on the result.

What hurts the most for the away side about this match is the lack of a response against an opponent who was superior for almost the entire game. Belgrano failed to press consistently and found no gaps in a home structure that functioned effectively. On matchday 14 of the Primera L de CABA, Floresta Este are establishing themselves as an awkward contender, while Belgrano will have to do some serious soul-searching. The 4-1 was more than fair; it could have been more if the side had been more clinical at certain moments in the first half.
