Match report
Parque Patricios and Sportivo Once Norte shared the points in a match where both teams arrived with similar approaches but lacked the necessary clarity to tip the balance. The final 1-1 reflected an even contest, without many alarms, in which the two sides cancelled each other out in the danger areas. With 4-4-2 formations and balanced mentalities, the result was fair: each side scored once and left feeling they had missed opportunities along the way.
El Chino Rossini opened the scoring for the hosts with a goal that allowed Parque Patricios to breathe, although it did not prove decisive in their subsequent play. Gino Zimei, the 21-year-old goalkeeper raised at Lanús, put in a good performance between the posts, with a rating of 7.2 reflecting his solidity on the line. But Sportivo Once Norte responded with determination: Jeremías Bernasconi, a 30-year-old forward with accumulated experience in the lower divisions, scored the equaliser and put the visitors on level terms. Beto Paz and Agustín Bertolino, both seasoned campaigners, moved the game on from their positions, with the merengue left-back providing an assist that shows he remains at the top of his game at 34. Valentino Bevilacqua, the visitors' central midfielder, dictated play with his rating of 7.2.
The match lacked the spark that creates moments of genuine danger. Parque Patricios could not find a way to hold on to their early lead; Sportivo Once Norte were methodical but lacked the necessary punch to break the hosts' resistance. In the end, both sides settled for what they had earned. For Parque Patricios, a home draw always leaves a bitter taste; for the visitors, taking a point from GBA Oeste without being brilliant is never a bad result. One of those matches that is quickly forgotten.
