Prov. Saavedra0 - 1Unión Palermo Hollywood

Provincial Saavedra had a grey night on home soil. Unión Palermo Hollywood took the three points after a match where both sides played in similar fashion, with balanced 4-4-2 formations, but where the visitors were more clinical when it mattered. The final 1-0 sums up an afternoon where the difference was not huge, but it was enough. Adolfo Hoyos, the Corrientes-born forward of 27 who found his refuge at Saavedra after arriving by chance, could not break down the rival back line. Alongside him, midfielder Yoel Arratia was booked and failed to create much down the right flank. Joaquín Vannini, the 19-year-old full-back who was born in Resistencia and comes into these fixtures with that constant movement, also saw yellow but it was not enough to change the result.

Unión Palermo Hollywood controlled the decisive moments with composure. Pichu Kovaleski, the defensive midfielder aged 28, who turned 28 in Comodoro Rivadavia, read the game as his 7.5 rating suggests and was tasked with cutting out the home side's advances. At the back, Eric Zambelli on the left showed assurance with his 7.4 rating. Iván Matos, the 30-year-old goalkeeper, had few dangerous interventions but dealt with them when needed. Gonzalo Ulloa, the Mendoza-born midfielder of just 21, contributed with his movement on the left side.

For Provincial Saavedra there is the frustration of losing at home without making the most of their chances. The team showed intent but lacked precision in the final metres. Unión Palermo Hollywood, meanwhile, take a deserved win in a tight match where efficiency prevailed. Matchday 3 of Primera L de CABA smiles on the visitors, who keep their run going in the competition with a victory that gradually puts them into the shake-up.
