Reservas Boedo1 - 1Club Atlético San Silvines De Boedo

On an afternoon of few emotions in the Primera L of CABA, Reservas Boedo and Vet. Barracas signed off on a 1-1 draw that left more questions than answers. Both teams came out with identical formations and a balanced mindset, which promised a tactical match. That is exactly how it unfolded: without great attacking flashes, without unnecessary risks, two teams who respected each other and who in the end shared the points with nobody able to claim any injustice.

Ian Zurita was the man to put the home side ahead with a goal that arrived at a moment when Boedo seemed more organised in their movements. The twenty-year-old midfielder, originally from Comodoro Rivadavia, showed determination on the left flank and produced the strike that sealed a fine display. However, Vet. Barracas were not discouraged. Sebastián Piris, a thirty-year-old forward with plenty of experience, found the equaliser and picked up a yellow card in the process. Piris fulfilled his role without shining too brightly, but with the solidity of someone who knows the trade well. In midfield, Elías Bazzani was a constant presence for Boedo, while Ramiro Greco tried to create danger from Barracas' build-up play, though with limited success. Ezequiel Vitale, the thirty-three-year-old centre-back in the Boedo side, provided an assist and was the brains of the home defence, something that makes sense in a footballer of his age and rating.

The result leaves Reservas Boedo with an extra point in the table, though the home draw is not what they ideally wanted. Vet. Barracas, for their part, leave La Boca satisfied with the draw. A match that met expectations but will not leave any mark in anyone's memory. Matchday 6 brought no spectacular surprises, only reserve football that at times calls for patience.
