Juventud La Boca3 - 0Círculo Parque Avellaneda

Juventud La Boca swept aside Círculo Parque Avellaneda with authority in the south of Greater Buenos Aires. The 3-0 on matchday 6 of Primera I GBA Sur was no surprise to anyone who watched the home side take the field from the first minute with a clarity the visitors could never counter. Both teams lined up in the same shape, a balanced 4-4-2, but the difference was in the execution: Juventud La Boca found spaces where Círculo Parque Avellaneda could only see dead ends.

The central midfielder Giuliano Bassi was the undisputed conductor of the match. With a rating of 8.2, the 29-year-old Argentine midfielder not only scored a goal but also provided two assists that shaped the course of the game. His 22 years of experience in this were evident in every pass, in every reading of the game. Alexis Beizama, the 22-year-old forward who was the standout in attack, took advantage of the scraps Bassi left him to score with composure. At the back, Milton Montañez had to graft. A yellow card he picked up shows that at some point he pressed a bit too hard, but on the whole Juventud La Boca was not a side that suffered. Ariel Naranjo, the 30-year-old goalkeeper, barely had any work to do.

For Círculo Parque Avellaneda, Sandro De Angelis (6.7) had to be alert more often than he would have liked, though he could do little against the three goals that ended up in the net. Sebastián Rodríguez in the holding role and Lucas Zapata at left-back did their jobs without any particular shine. The result is emphatic: Juventud La Boca are moving along confidently, while the doors are closing on the visitors in the south.
